Ambleside Self Catering accommodation in the beautiful Lake District

Riverside Terrace is a brand new, contemporary and unique luxury self-catering property. It is situated in the little hamlet of Rydal, just a short distance from the popular Lakeland village of Ambleside. Nestled at the bottom of Loughrigg Fell, the property overlooks the River Rothay and surrounding breath-taking Lakeland countryside.

Located within the Stepping Stones Estate once owned by the Lakeland poet William Wordsworth's son, Riverside Terrace was built on the site of the former stables. The architect’s vision was to create a design that could fit into the landscape with its curved shape and gently pitched green roof. The remit was to be as eco-friendly as possible with locally sourced stone and a very low carbon footprint. The extensive use of floor to ceiling bespoke glazing is designed to draw the fantastic setting in; with its ever changing light and views.

Riverside Terrace is opening for Christmas 2017.
