LA22 9LN- If using a sat nav just follow until nearing Ambleside and then use the directions below to avoid coming into the property from the opposite end and having to drive on a single track lane for too long.
Exit the M6 at junction 36
Follow the A591 to the Lake District
You will pass Kendal and need to follow the main road through to Ambleside.
Continue into Ambleside following the one way system towards the town centre and proceed through Ambleside signposted Grasmere and Keswick, keeping in the left hand lane through the one way system.
You will pass the Little Bridge House on your left and go straight across a small roundabout on leaving Ambleside.
Continue for a mile or so passing a sign for Rydal on your left and shortly after turn left travelling over a humpback bridge.
Bear left following the narrow road over two cattle grids until you see the first entrance to Stepping Stones Country House.
Pass this entrance and the second entrance. Riverside Terrace is now on your right hand side, turn right into the next entrance signed Riverside Terrace.
