Covid 19 guest safety update - January 2022

Good News?

Following the dramatic spike in COVID 19 Omicron cases in the UK in the run up to Christmas it appears that we may have reached a peak and may be starting to see a reduction in hospital admissions and a reduction in the number of people contracting COVID cases.

We are following government advice issued to hotels and guest accomadation providers: link below.

Key points from the guidance that we will follow and that you can follow to help keep you, your family and us safe

• Check - take a lateral flow test before coming to Riverside Terrace and do not travel if positive.
• Adequate ventilation - we will vent your accomadation, you should consider venting regularly.
• Face Masks - Wear them in confined public spaces and in company of those outside your family.
• Clean - We will sanitise your accommodation thoroughly before you arrive concentrating on high contact points.
• Clean - We will provide you with hand sanitiser and virucidal spray for you to use in the property.
• Clean - You should sanitise regularly and particularly when you arrive back at the property.
• No contact check in and out - Key safe use for arrival and departure
  

Please refer to the governments guidance in the link above in the event that you contract COVID 19 whilst at the property and need to self isolate.

In the event that you need to self isolate at the property and extend your planned stay and are not able to travel home or to another location, additional costs are likely to be incurred.

Please follow the above key points. There will be information in your property about how you can help lower the transmission of Covid-19. There’s nothing too disruptive  just simple measures like washing your hands each time you enter or leave the property.

As we’re sure you’ll be aware, new research is being conducted all of the time, and this can often prompt a change in Government guidance. We will, of course, keep up to date with the latest information and adapt our approach appropriately. In addition, we will listen to first-hand feedback from our guests and cleaners and do whatever we can to safely to meet your needs.
